The AFA office located in room 2470 Des Plaines will be open during the Fall 2011 semester on Mondays from 2-3 PM and Friday from 1-3PM. You may stop by or call the office at 847-635-2193. Office Manager John Bishop will be happy to answer your questions about AFA and our contract or refer you to someone who can. If you have questions for the AFA you can also e-mail them to info@oaktonafa.org. AFA officers will monitor this email address and forward your inquiry to the appropriate person. |

Barbara Dayton, AFA President was recently awarded the James M. Davenport Memorial Award, 2010, for "outstanding leadership, dedicated advocacy, and untiring service on behalf of NEA's higher education members" at the NEA Higher Education Conference in San Jose, CA. The NEA's National Council for Higher Education selects one or two higher education leaders for this award each year. |
